Self Defense for Women

Join Kuk Sool Won Black Belt Melissa Johnson for a 4 week workshop in self defense, designed just for women.
In this course, participants will learn and practice basic self defense skills, outlining the four components of self-defense:
1. Developing a voice
2. Taking a stance
3. Breaking away
4. Countering.

Participants are asked to dress in comfortable clothes, and be prepared for physical activity. Some portions of the course may be physically challenging.
Participants must be 18 or older.

Melissa is a military veteran who currently works at Illinois River Correctional Facility. She is also a survivor of domestic violence.

Investment: $40 for all sessions. If you are not able to make all sessions, you may "drop in" to individual sessions, which cost $5 each. To RSVP for those, contact Lindsey@thebreathingtree.net.
